Senior Infrastructure Engineer / DevOps (Work from Riga or Budva or Barcelona) (D100) This position is required on-site work: Riga, Latvia or Budva, Montenegro. SHORT DESCRIPTION At BETBY, our small team is responsible for building, managing and maintaining secure, robust and scalable infrastructure to run our prod & beta/test/dev environments and core services using DevOps principles. This includes provisioning, configuring, and monitoring servers for on-premise Kubernetes clusters, databases and networking components, as well as managing cloud infrastructure hosted within AWS. REQUIREMENTS Previous experience at least three years Willingness and ability to work with Linux/Unix You are ready to deal with Nginx, Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and others like RabbitMQ, zookeeper and etc. Understanding of the main distributives - Debian, Ubuntu Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes/Helm, Ansible, Git Desire to create monitorings and charts, to organise infrastructure Ability to write scripts on to automate routines to reach fault tolerance Experience in AWS and some on-premise (VMWare, Proxmox, etc.) infrastructure management is a plus RESPONSIBILITIES Optimization of project architecture for heavy loads Research of new technologies and their implementation in existing projects Supporting production and testing environments and core services Automating configuration management (Ansible) Codifying all infrastructure components using IaC (Terraform) Managing advanced on-premise and cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes Clusters) Organization of the process of applications delivery and their updates Data visualisation, organisation of the collection, and analysis of project metrics Maintaining and writing documentation of the infrastructure setup, configurations, and operational procedures OUR TECHNICAL STACK OS: Debian Virtualization: KVM, Proxmox Service orchestration: Kubernetes, and also Docker Swarm Monitoring systems: ELK, Prometheus, Grafana Configuration management: Ansible, Terraform Storages: Ceph, S3 DBMS: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse Message brokers: Kafka, RabbitMQ Revision control and CI/CD tools: GitLab Cloud services: Amazon S3, EKS, Cloudfront Web services: Nginx, varnish, HAproxy Scripting: Python, Bash PERKS AND BENEFITS Join our dynamic product company and experience a recruiting process like no other one that is both timesaving and highly efficient.
